Job summary

Ladders’ client, a leader in information technology, seeks a WFM Systems Engineer to serve as the technical expert for workforce management platforms, focusing on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing timekeeping and payroll compliance.

You will partner with stakeholders across the business to align system capabilities with operational needs, support integrations, troubleshoot issues, and design smarter, automated workforce operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems, CS, HR tech, business, etc.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with enterprise WFM systems (Kronos UKG)
• Strong knowledge of timekeeping and payroll compliance processes
• Experience configuring WFM rules, workflows, and integrations
• Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and data transformation
• Troubleshooting skills for system defects and integrations
• Experience with automation and AI applications in business operations

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a WFM Systems Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will serve as a technical expert for workforce management systems, with a focus on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise platforms that support timekeeping and payroll compliance. The position will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to align system capabilities with operational needs. It will also contribute to integration support, troubleshooting, and the design of smarter, more automated workforce operations.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $110,000 – $135,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for the workforce management platform
• Configure and maintain system components, rules, workflows, and policies
• Design AI-driven solutions to improve workforce operations

• Experience configuring WFM rules, workflows, and integrations
• Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and data transformation concepts
• Proven troubleshooting skills for system defects and integration errors
• Experience with automation and AI applications in business operations
