Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned Workforce Management Techno-Functional Expert to lead end-to-end scheduling and labor forecasting capabilities across enterprise platforms. The role partners with business stakeholders, product, engineering and vendors to deliver scalable, well-governed WFM solutions.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on WFM platform configuration with strong forecasting knowledge and strategic design leadership to enable data-driven staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering Workforce Management solutions with forecasting, staffing, and scheduling.
• 7+ years working with WFM scheduling constructs (rules, templates, shifts, optimization constraints) and forecasting concepts.
• 6+ years configuring, customizing, and debugging WFM solutions.
• 5+ years with large enterprise WFM platforms such as Infor WFM/Workbrain, UKG, Legion, or similar tools.
• 3+ years partnering with SaaS vendors to deliver business outcomes.
• 3+ years working in Agile environments with experience in change management and vendor negotiation.
• 3+ years demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills with the ability to drive decisions, manage competing priorities, and drive execution.
• 2+ years' experience demonstrating analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills with a track record of delivering scalable solutions.
• 2+ years demonstrating a growth mindset while developing self and others.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to understand demand drivers and translate findings into requirements.
• Drive fit-gap analysis across vendor options and recommend the functional approach with tradeoffs.
• Design forecasting workflows and scheduling models to produce reliable plans.
• Define scheduling patterns, rules, templates, and optimization constraints.
• Establish solution guardrails for accuracy, auditability, and transparency.
• Partner with engineering to convert functional designs into configuration and build plans.
• Own functional delivery, including configuring and customizing vendor applications.
• Drive end-to-end lifecycle for enhancements, defects, and releases with proper documentation.
• Define reporting needs and collaborate on dashboards and reporting.
• Serve as functional leader across HR, operations, and technology teams.
• Support training and enablement for business users.
