Job summary

Wausau Supply Company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Western US region. You will lead the independent rep network, grow the Taylor Entrance Systems business, and expand our customer base across a broad territory.

This role requires regular travel and close coordination with internal teams and our manufacturer partners. You will present to contractors, architects and buying influencers, while leveraging strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, not required.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience/knowledge of exterior doors (commercial, hospitality, multi-family).
• Technology oriented with ability to operate laptop and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Direct our independent rep network, establishing annual goals and reviews.
• Analyze open leads, opportunities and results to plan action with reps.
• Create pull-through business by calling on current and prospective customers.
• Develop a customer base of Taylor customers and niche users.
• Present and educate to customers, contractors, architects and influencers.
• Attend customer functions and provide product knowledge training.
• Travel as needed and arrange own travel plans.
• Support warranty department as requested.
