Job summary

Ecoplexus Inc. is seeking a lead for project development in the U.S. West region to coordinate interconnection, permitting, real estate, GIS, finance, origination, and engineering to achieve portfolio goals.

The role reports to the SVP, US Development & Origination, and will manage regional development activities, supervise a team of experts, and participate in sales and investor processes while ensuring on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience developing wind, solar or thermal energy in the U.S. West region.
• Experience with CAISO and federal land development is preferred.
• Proven track record of large-scale solar/wind/energy storage projects in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional project development activities including site acquisition, permitting, interconnection and entitlement work.
• Support revenue contract origination and portfolio strategy for the region.
• Oversee a team of junior developers and external consultants to deliver on time and on budget.
• Participate in sales and marketing with Origination to engage offtakers and programs.
• Assist in due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and negotiations.
