Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Associate, Project Development to support and lead the development of solar, wind, and storage projects in the West region, including California, Hawaii, and the Desert Southwest. You will coordinate with Business Development, Origination, Engineering, and Finance teams through the full project lifecycle.

The role requires 2+ years in renewable energy development, strong permitting and land development experience, and the ability to travel (>25%).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of renewable energy project development experience in the U.S.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal/external teams.
• Familiarity with land acquisition processes and permitting pathways.

Responsibilities

• Support or manage development of complex renewable energy projects from siting to handover to construction.
• Identify and implement development approaches to reduce permitting risks and add value.
• Support due diligence on development-stage projects and portfolio acquisitions.
