Job summary

Mattr, a leader in advanced material technologies, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the US West. Remote work is possible with base in Arizona or Oregon, covering WA, OR, ID, NV, CA, UT, and AZ.

You will drive profitable growth, expand OEM and distributor networks, and identify technical solutions to customer requirements. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing to align regional strategies with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of sales/marketing experience in heat-shrinkable tubing, wire and cable, electrical, or electronics.
• Experience with technical selling and channel management concepts.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers, distributors, engineering firms, agents, and internal teams.
• Commercial judgment related to pricing, margins, quotations, distribution, and customer requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects from qualification through order fulfillment.
• Strong recordkeeping and reporting practices, including maintaining customer profiles and contact information.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales plan driving growth across the Western U.S.
• Build relationships with OEMs, end users, distributors, engineering firms and agents.
• Generate demand by targeting new customers and applications for DSG‑Canusa products.
• Develop and manage channel strategy with distributors and Inside Sales.
• Manage opportunities from qualification through quotation and order fulfillment with pricing/margin discipline.
• Monitor sales, bookings, margins, and customer activity with monthly reporting.
• Maintain a strong territory presence via industry events and networking.
• Provide market intelligence on competitors and opportunities; support strategic direction with product managers.
