Job summary

Pneumatic & Hydraulic Co. is seeking a Fluid Power & Hydraulic Sales Specialist for the West Texas territory. This outside sales role focuses on growing accounts, building relationships, and delivering hydraulic solutions to oil & gas and industrial customers.

You will work with customers and internal teams to identify needs, recommend hydraulic design solutions, and provide technical support across the product line. Regular travel and collaboration with engineering and operations are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of direct outside sales, preferably hydraulics.
• Proven relationships in West Texas / Permian Basin with oil & gas and industrial accounts.
• Experience with hydraulic and fluid power products, systems, or applications.
• Ability to read and develop hydraulic schematics.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned West Texas sales territory through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and customer-site visits.
• Develop new customer accounts while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Build long-term relationships with oil & gas and industrial customers throughout the territory.
• Identify sales opportunities, prepare quotes, and work toward closing new business.
• Provide technical assistance related to hydraulic design, engineering, and system applications.
• Assist with hydraulic system design and development of specifications.
• Size and select hydraulic components for mobile and industrial equipment.
• Read and develop schematics using standard fluid power symbols.
• Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and suppliers as needed to develop effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions.
