Job summary

Genmab is seeking a West Regional Business Director to lead an Oncology Account Manager team across AK, WA, OR, CA, and HI. You will drive regional sales plans, recruit and develop top talent, and execute value-based selling with strong collaboration with partners and key accounts.

The role requires 8+ years in pharma/biotech sales with 3+ years in leadership, preferably in Gynecologic Oncology, and a proven track record launching Oncology products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of pharma/biotech sales with at least 3 years in Oncology leadership.
• Gynecologic Oncology experience preferred.
• Proven ability to recruit, hire, develop, and retain top sales talent.
• Coaching skills that drive improvements in sales behaviors and team development.
• Successful launch of Oncology products with strong results.
• Strategic thinking with disciplined execution and governance adherence.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Veeva Engage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oncology Account Managers across multiple geographies (AK, WA, OR, CA, HI).
• Develop and implement regional/national sales strategies and programs.
• Build a culture focused on patient-centric, value-based selling.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate sales teams; manage compliance.
• Collaborate with alliance partners and key accounts to optimize results.
• Analyze regional business and develop short- and long-term plans to exceed sales goals.
• Navigate product processes within large institutions and maintain regulatory adherence.
