Goodwin Recruiting is assisting a high-volume West Palm Beach restaurant in finding an Assistant General Manager to lead a fine dining team during service. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, manage front-of-house operations, and partner with leadership to drive performance.

The role requires 3–5 years of AG Manager experience in fine dining, strong P&L and inventory analysis, plus expertise with Toast POS and 7shifts. A proactive leader on the dining floor is essential.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager in a fine dining environment.
• Strong working knowledge of TOAST POS system.
• Experience in restaurant event management.
• Ability to analyze P&L, inventory, and cost controls.
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading pre-shift meetings.
• Expertise in fine dining steps of service.

Aufgaben

• Actively manage and engage on the dining room floor during service, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and direct resolution of guest concerns.
• Oversee daily front-of-house operations including service pacing, staffing adjustments, and management of VIP, regular, and media guests.
• Lead, train, and coach FOH team members with real-time feedback and ongoing development.
• Manage scheduling, staff hiring recommendations, and shift coverage proactively.
• Maintain wine and beverage program knowledge, assist guests with selections, and oversee bar operations until dedicated leadership is established.
• Administer operational systems such as Toast and 7shifts, including troubleshooting and programming updates.
• Oversee inventory management, vendor follow-up, and facility maintenance to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Prepare and submit nightly management reports summarizing service outcomes, guest feedback, staffing issues, and operational notes.
