AXA XL is seeking a Senior Underwriter for the West Middle Market to help build and expand our presence in the West Territory. You will underwrite new and renewal business, work with actuarial and claims to achieve profitable results, and develop your annual desk plan.

You will travel for broker and client meetings, maintain strong broker relationships, and represent AXA XL at industry events while collaborating with teammates to drive growth and cross-sell across the Middle Market unit.

Qualifications

• Outstanding knowledge of the US insurance industry and P&C product offerings.
• Strong broker relationship management experience in a Middle Market context.
• Proven ability to differentiate AXA XL in the market through offerings and approach.
• Ability to build and maintain insured and broker contacts.
• Excellent written and oral communication and a customer-service focus.
• Collaborative team player providing creative solutions and ideas.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite new and renewal business aiming for profitable premium and rate goals.
• Develop and execute your annual desk-level underwriting plan.
• Adhere to guidelines and authorities per policy and risk framework.
• Maintain high-quality service standards and internal audit compliance.
• Collaborate with underwriting teammates and management.
• Travel to broker, client, and internal meetings across the territory.
• Develop and service broker relationships within the distribution model.
• Represent AXA XL at internal/external events with agents and brokers.
• Cross-sell across Middle Market to maximize deployment of AXA XL’s capital.
