Job summary

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking an experienced Middle Market Underwriter for the Central Zone in the United States. You will underwrite new and renewal business, build broker and client relationships, and execute your annual desk-level underwriting plan to support growth.

Qualifications

• Outstanding knowledge of the US insurance industry and P&C product offerings.
• Experience in Middle Market underwriting, claims, or business development.
• Ability to differentiate AXA XL through offerings and conduct of business.
• Proven ability to build and maintain insured and broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business for the assigned territory.
• Execute your own annual desk-level underwriting plan.
• Adhere to guidelines, authorities and referral requirements as needed.
• Ensure high quality service and compliance with audit guidelines.
• Collaborate in a team environment and cross-sell within Middle Market.
