AXA XL seeks a Senior Underwriter to help build and expand our West Territory presence. You will partner with brokers and clients to deliver tailored underwriting solutions and drive profitable growth within the Middle Market segment.

You will report to the Underwriting Manager, West Middle Market, and travel to broker and client meetings. The role emphasizes underwriting excellence, client service, and cross-selling across a broad product suite.

Formación

• Outstanding knowledge of the US insurance industry with P&C product knowledge.
• Middle Market insurance experience (underwriting, claims, or related business development).
• Ability to differentiate AXA XL through offerings and business conduct.
• Ability to build and maintain insured and broker contacts.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong customer service.
• Collaborative team player offering creative resolution ideas.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite new and renewal business; work with actuarial and claims to meet financial plans.
• Develop and execute your own annual desk-level underwriting plan.
• Adhere to guidelines, authorities, and referral requirements with Underwriting Manager and CIO.
• Maintain high-quality service standards and audit compliance.
• Collaborate with underwriters, underwriting assistants, and management.
• Travel throughout the territory for broker, client, and internal meetings.
• Develop and service broker relationships within the distribution model; coordinate education needs.
• Represent AXA XL at internal/external functions and industry events.
• Cross-sell across Middle Market to maximize deployment of AXA XL capital.
