Job summary

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking a Middle Market underwriter for the US Central Zone. You will underwrite new and renewal business, manage broker and client relationships, and execute your underwriting plan while aligning with guidelines and an emphasis on service.

You will collaborate with teammates, travel within the territory, and contribute to cross-sell efforts across the Middle Market unit.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US insurance, P&C product offerings and broker relationships.
• Experience in Middle Market underwriting or related fields.
• Ability to differentiate AXA XL through offerings and service.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business for the assigned Central Zone.
• Execute your annual desk-level underwriting plan.
• Adhere to guidelines, authorities and referral requirements.
• Ensure high quality service and audit compliance.
• Collaborate in a team environment; cross-sell within Middle Market.
• Travel within territory for broker, client and internal meetings.
• Develop and service broker relationships within the distribution model.
• Represent the company at internal/external events.
