Job summary

Skydio is seeking an experienced operations leader to join as Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering for Launch Team Readiness, West. This remote role drives readiness from pre-sales through deployment and go-live, measuring success by on-time launches and customer confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a customer-facing operations, deployment, implementation, or project delivery role.
• 1+ years leading a team, formally or as a lead with hiring and mentorship responsibility.
• Familiarity with Drone as First Responder concepts of operation and dock based remote operations.
• Ability to travel 50 to 60% of the time, with heavier travel during periods of team growth and onboarding.
• Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the readiness function for the West region, owning pre-sales readiness through deployment, training, and go-live.
• Own capacity and account assignments across the region, balancing launch complexity and specialist experience.
• Drive on-time launches by monitoring site readiness, policy milestones, deployment progress, and readiness gates.
• Represent the customer inside Skydio by providing feedback to Product and Engineering and ensuring a clean post-launch handoff to Customer Success.
