Job summary

AECOM seeks a Vice President, Industrial Market Sector Leader for the West Environment business line. This senior leader will drive the industrial market agenda, serve as a senior seller and CAM, and convert market intelligence into a robust pipeline across site investigation, remediation, PFAS, and related services.

The role requires commercial accountability, ability to mobilize cross-practice teams, and a track record of winning multi-site environmental engagements. Travel 30–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• 12 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership experience in environmental consulting with responsibility for growth.
• Success in winning large, complex environmental engagements.
• Established relationships with senior decision-makers in priority segments.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to influence teams across a matrixed organization.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel 30-40 %.

Responsibilities

• Act as a growth leader and client executive with accountability for winning and growing the West Environment business.
• Originate and advance strategic accounts and pursuits from early positioning through capture strategy and award.
• Set and execute the West industrial growth strategy, translating it into actionable plans and a qualified pipeline.
• Integrate AECOM’s capabilities to deliver differentiated solutions.
• Success measures include impact on accounts, revenue growth, pipeline health, and talent pipeline strength.
