Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking a strategic Area Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across San Diego, the Inland Empire, Palm Desert and Hawaii. You will coach a team of sales professionals, develop strategies with regional leadership, and maintain strong customer relationships to expand market share.

The role requires heavy field presence, travel in CA up to 60% and quarterly Hawaii visits, and a thorough understanding of CRM-driven sales processes.

Qualifications

• Proven success leading high-performing sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
• Experience in wholesale distribution, landscape supply, irrigation, hardscape, or related contractor-focused industries.
• Knowledge of green industry products, practices, or related markets is a plus.
• Strong CRM proficiency and ability to drive pipeline discipline and adoption of sales processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
• Partner with regional leadership to implement sales strategies driving long-term growth across the territory.
• Spend significant time in the field coaching sellers on customer engagement, account management, and negotiations.
• Drive accountability through KPI management, Salesforce adoption, and disciplined sales processes.
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and branches to identify growth opportunities and deliver exceptional service.
