Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Account Leader in Tampa, FL to grow water, wastewater, stormwater and solid waste opportunities in West Florida. You will lead client engagement, manage multi-project pursuits, and coordinate with project teams to deliver high-quality service and value-driven solutions.

You will mentor junior staff, develop strategic growth plans, and build trusted relationships with municipal clients while traveling up to 30% for meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in business development and/or project management in water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience and solid waste sectors.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or a related field of study.
• Florida P.E. License or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen client relationships with decision makers at multiple levels to become a trusted advisor.
• Develop deep understanding of local utility and solid waste issues, identify client needs and future project planning.
• Lead pursuit plans and develop client engagement strategies for task orders and projects.
• Coordinate with project managers to monitor planning, design, and construction administration of projects.
• Serve as project manager to monitor planning, design and construction and develop scope and cost proposals.
• Lead or assist as a senior technical resource on municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience, and/or solid waste projects.
