Qualifikationen

• Advanced knowledge of Workers' Compensation claims investigation, reserving, insurance legal/regulatory environment, litigation and fraud awareness.
• Ability to get work done through others, communicate effectively, plan/organize, analyze/solve problems, and focus on the larger picture.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of related experience.
• Workers' Compensation claims experience required.
• Claims management or leadership experience desired; experience with dedicated accounts preferred.

Aufgaben

• Supervises day-to-day operations for the claims staff by prioritizing, scheduling and coaching on reviewing, analyzing, investigating, negotiating and settling claims per standards.
• Builds a high-performing staff through candidate selection, onboarding, and performance management with regular coaching.
• Drives continuous improvement and ensures use of Liberty Management System to foster problem solving and standard work.
• Maintains internal/external customer relationships; primary contact for agents, brokers, and policyholders.
• Hosts claim reviews in person or by phone; manages Special Service Instructions and presents to customers as needed.
• Coaches to improve technical expertise; monitors reserves, settlements and payments within authority; reviews inventory and quality metrics.
• Uses data analytics to monitor production, inventory, financials, and quality and to communicate team performance.
