Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Sales Manager Merchant Regional to lead the Merchant Services team on the US West Coast. You will drive strategy, coach managers, recruit talent, and expand accounts while ensuring client satisfaction and revenue growth.

The role requires strong leadership, deep payments knowledge, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. Travel to client sites is expected as part of building long-term relationships and meeting market goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong management, organizational, team building and mentoring skills.
• Solid business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Worldpay products and services.
• General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the regional sales team including recruitment and mentoring.
• Develop and execute sales plans, goals and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify critical market segments through research and competitor analyses and tailor sales approaches.
• Oversee sales policies, practices and resource use for cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare sales production reports for senior management.
• Identify, build and maintain long-term client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management on packaging, pricing and market needs.
