Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager Merchant Regional to lead the regional Merchant Services team on the US West Coast, driving revenue, developing new and existing accounts, and mentoring staff.

You will shape sales strategies, monitor performance, approve incentive plans, lead coaching and development, and collaborate with executives to align goals with company vision. Travel is required to meet clients and grow the business, while strengthening Worldpay's market leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong management, organizational, team-building and mentoring skills.
Deep knowledge of Worldpay products and services.
Understanding of financial/payment solutions technology and banking practices.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development and mentoring.
Develop sales plans, goals, strategies and objectives to achieve team and revenue targets.
Identify market segments, conduct market research and recommend sales strategies.
Oversee policy execution, trade show participation and sales meetings.
Prepare sales production reports for senior management and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain long-term client relationships and act as an industry expert in payments.
Travel as required to meet clients and drive revenue growth.
