Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager, Merchant Regional to lead the expansion of our Merchant Services footprint across the US West Coast. You will drive sales strategy, coach teams, and partner with clients to deliver payment solutions that meet their business needs.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, relationship building, and the ability to manage performance, budgets and goals. Travel is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong management, organizational and mentoring skills.
• In-depth knowledge of payments industry and Worldpay products.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for the area of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting and mentoring.
• Monitors staff performance and documents progress; approves incentive calculations.
• Responsible for selling products/services and expanding accounts.
• Directs resources to meet growth targets and sales goals.
• Develops sales plans and strategies to achieve team revenue objectives.
• Oversees trade shows and planning of sales meetings.
• Prepares sales production reports for senior management.
