Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to own growth across the CGT CDMO network. You will lead end-to-end deal cycles from target to close, engaging R&D through QA/RA, and partnering with Legal and Commercial Solutions to land strategic agreements.

This global role is based on the West Coast and requires a strong network in biopharma and CGT, with a track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and high-value pipeline generation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior-level business development, account management, or program management within biopharma/CDMO.
• Proven ability to originate and close net-new opportunities and manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and business-writing capabilities.
• Existing network across biopharma and CGT ecosystems; track record of pipeline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a high-quality, high-velocity pipeline aligned to territory strategy and capacity.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across R&D through CMC, MSAT, QA/RA, Procurement, and Legal.
• Shape value propositions around CGT/CDMO services and tech transfer, scale-up, GMP manufacturing, and PPQ.
• Develop territory plans and forecast with leadership; negotiate and land compliant, mutually advantageous agreements.
• Represent FUJIFILM Biotechnologies at conferences and translate visibility into qualified pipeline.
