Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies seeks a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to own growth across its CGT/CDMO network, including West Coast operations. You will drive end-to-end deals from target to close, coordinating with Legal, Commercial Solutions, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Market Intelligence to land compelling proposals and milestones.

You’ll build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders, shaping territory plans and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior-level business development, account management, or program management within biopharma/CDMO.
• Proven ability to originate and mature net-new opportunities across CGT ecosystems.
• Strong pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long-cycle enterprise sales.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory across vector, cell therapy, and enabling platforms.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with R&D through QA/RA and Legal stakeholders.
• Translate science to value by positioning process development, tech transfer, scale-up, and GMP capabilities.
• Develop territory plans using market intelligence and accurate forecasts for leadership.
• Shape and negotiate contracts with Legal and Commercial Solutions for compliant agreements.
• Represent the brand at conferences and tradeshows to build pipeline.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, product, marketing, and Market Intelligence for cohesive strategy.
