Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to own the growth of CGT/CDMO deals across a global network of sites. You will lead cross-functional teams from field to boardroom, shaping proposals, managing multi-stakeholder negotiations, and driving strategic partnerships to bring GMP-ready solutions to patients.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, a hunter–strategist mindset, and the ability to translate complex science into compelling value

Qualifications

5+ years in senior-level business development or related roles in biopharma/CDMO.
Proven ability to originate and mature net-new opportunities.
Strong pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long-cycle sales.
Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.

Responsibilities

Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory across CGT/CDMO opportunities.
Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with cross-functional stakeholders.
Translate science to value by detailing capabilities (process development, tech transfer, GMP).
Build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders to secure wins.
Develop territory plans using market intelligence and accurate forecasts for leadership.
Shape and negotiate contracts with Legal and Commercial Solutions for compliant agreements.
