Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Manager in Training to learn the Store Manager role alongside the current manager and coach a high-energy team in a welcoming, team-oriented salon.

You will gain hands-on experience in running daily operations, coaching Wellness Consultants, scheduling, and promoting local promotions. The role offers flexible scheduling, advancement opportunities, and a compensation structure that includes base pay plus commission.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience (bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Basic computer and POS skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be on your feet 7+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Learn to run a great salon side by side with the Store Manager.
• Learn to lead and coach Wellness Consultants and the Salon Support team.
• Learn to recruit, schedule, and develop great people.
• Learn to set goals, track performance, and follow up on training.
• Learn to manage labor, cost of sales, and other controllable expenses.
• Deliver customer service that keeps clients coming back and resolve concerns professionally.
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and compliant with health standards.
• Help plan local promotions to grow store sales.
• Learn to handle cash, deposits, and customer card data securely (PCI training included)
