Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Manager in Training to learn the Store Manager role and lead a high-energy team in a welcoming, team-focused salon environment.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to coach Wellness Consultants, recruit and schedule staff, set goals, and manage labor and costs while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers growth and advancement opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience (bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to motivate others
• Basic computer and POS skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be on your feet 7+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Learn to run a great salon with the Store Manager
• Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team
• Recruit, schedule, and develop great people
• Set goals, track performance, and follow up on training
• Manage labor, cost of sales, and other controllable expenses
• Deliver customer service that keeps clients coming back
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and compliant with health standards
• Plan local promotions to grow store sales
• Handle the salon’s cash, deposits, and customer card data securely (PCI training included)
