Job summary

Palm Beach Tan invites you to join as a Manager in Training. You will work alongside the Store Manager to learn the role, coach a high-energy team, and drive store success. The environment is welcoming, team-focused, and geared toward building a long-term retail management career.

You will train in leadership, scheduling, and performance tracking while supporting local promotions and customer service excellence. The path leads to Store Manager with advancement and rewards for performance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience (bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to motivate others
• Basic computer and POS skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be on your feet 7+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with your Store Manager to learn how to run a great salon
• Learn to lead and coach our Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team
• Learn to recruit, schedule, and develop great people
• Learn to set goals, track performance, and follow up on training
• Learn to manage labor, cost of sales, and other controllable expenses
• Deliver the kind of customer service that keeps clients coming back, and learn to resolve customer concerns professionally
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and running smoothly, and make sure it meets health department standards
• Help plan and carry out local promotions that grow your store's sales
• Learn to handle the salon's cash, deposits, and customer card data securely (PCI security training included)
