Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is hiring a Manager in Training to learn the Store Manager role from the inside and coach a high-energy team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in goal setting, scheduling, and promotions while contributing to a welcoming salon culture.

The program offers extensive training, commission opportunities, and a path to store leadership. Flexible scheduling and advancement opportunities are highlighted throughout the role.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience (bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to motivate others
• Basic computer and POS skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be on your feet 7+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Learn to run a great salon alongside the Store Manager
• Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team
• Recruit, schedule, and develop great people
• Set goals, track performance, and follow up on training
• Manage labor, cost of sales, and other controllable expenses
• Deliver customer service that keeps clients coming back and resolve concerns professionally
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and compliant with health standards
• Plan and carry out local promotions to grow store sales
• Handle the salon’s cash, deposits, and customer card data securely (PCI training)
