Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a high-energy salon environment in Chapin, SC. You will support the Store Manager, coach Wellness Consultants, and help drive sales while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Basic computer and POS skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to stand 7+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Run the salon side by side with the Store Manager to operate a great salon.
• Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team; recruit, schedule, and develop staff.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and compliant with health standards.
• Grow sales and manage labor and costs.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on promotions and growth.
• Handle the salon’s cash, deposits, and PCI data securely (training provided).
