Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking compassionate Wellness Resident Assistants to support residents with daily living activities in our Ohio communities. You will provide high-quality care with a cheerful, timely approach and collaborate with nurses and teammates to meet resident goals.

There is a Part Time Day shift (8am–12pm). The role emphasizes respect, person-centered care, and teamwork in a non-profit environment that values growth and benefits for staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with ADLs including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing as needed per resident.
• Provide supervision or support related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident.
• Roll carts and laundry hampers safely through work and resident areas.
• Communicate and coordinate with resident needs and team structure.
• Work under nurse supervision and direction.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents.
