Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking compassionate Resident Assistants to support residents with ADLs and provide high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner. You will collaborate with the nursing team to meet individual needs across vibrant communities and home health settings.

Shifts include part-time 7a-3p, 3p-11p and full-time 7a-3p, with dailyPay available and pay starting from $15.00 per hour, increasing with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• First Aid Certification required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with ADLs including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing as needed.
• Provide supervision or transfer assistance as needed per resident.
• Move carts, laundry hampers and equipment safely through work areas.
• Communicate and coordinate with residents' needs and team structure.
• Work with the nurse in charge and follow supervision and direction.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
