Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio (and Indiana) seeks compassionate individuals for Wellness Resident Assistant roles. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, communicate with teams, and contribute to person-centered care in a supportive environment.

We offer benefits and opportunities with a strong promote-from-within philosophy across communities, home health, and hospice. Shifts: Part Time Days 8am- noon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with ADLs (teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, dressing) with kindness.
• Provide supervision and cueing for transfers and ambulation as needed.
• Move carts, laundry hampers and equipment safely.
• Communicate and coordinate with residents' needs and the team.
• Work under nurse supervision and direction.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents.
