Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking compassionate individuals to join our Assisted Living team as Resident Assistants. You will help residents with daily living activities and support a family-like campus culture, working under nursing supervision on all shifts.

The role emphasizes person-centered care, teamwork, and quick response to emergencies. This position offers varied shifts including part-time, full-time, and PRN, with strong benefits and dailyPay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• First Aid Certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including oral care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing.
• Provide supervision or cueing related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident.
• Move carts, laundry hampers and equipment safely.
• Communicate and coordinate with residents and team.
• Work under nurse supervision.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
