Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking compassionate Resident Assistants for an entry-level role with growth potential. You will help residents with Activities of Daily Living and work closely with a caring team to deliver person-centered care across our communities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident.
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident.
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure.
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge.
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

Education
