Job summary

Bridgeway is seeking a Wellness Specialist in Elizabeth, NJ to provide on-site wellness and recovery services and case management for individuals with mental health needs. You will engage clients using motivational approaches and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to link with community resources.

The role includes developing WRAP/PAD plans, delivering education on illness management, and providing crisis intervention in the living room setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/BSW in a social service discipline.
• At least one year post-degree experience providing case management in mental health.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation in the past 12 months. Vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals into BCIS services using motivational and strengths-based approaches.
• Provide on-site wellness and recovery oriented services and case management.
• Coordinate referrals and linkages to community services.
• Develop Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) or Psychiatric Advanced Directives (PAD).
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation in the Living Room setting.
