Job summary

Bridgeway seeks a Wellness Specialist to join the Community Support Services team in Annandale, NJ. You will provide resource development, skill-building, and direct support for individuals with serious mental illness enrolled in CSS, helping them integrate into their chosen communities.

Responsibilities include evidence-based practices, crisis intervention, and collaboration with licensed staff to implement IRPs and CRNAs. Valid driver’s license required and strong benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with minimum two years’ experience in behavioral healthcare.
• Bachelor’s degree in a helping profession required.
• Master’s degree in a helping profession preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in non-helping fields requires two years’ related experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a wellness and recovery-oriented environment using person-first language and evidence-based practices.
• Maintain compliance with internal/external policies, regulations, and high ethical standards.
• Contribute to rehabilitation needs assessments and individualized recovery plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate services with the care team.
• Offer health education, counseling, and wellness strategies to individuals served.
