Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and ensure medications are administered accurately and compassionately, upholding residents' dignity. The role includes direct resident care, supervision of care staff, and adherence to the eMAR system and six rights of medication administration.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (Illinois).
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Adhere to the Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for medication care guidance.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
