Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Wellness Nurse to support resident care on site. You will ensure daily medication needs are met in a compassionate way that preserves residents' dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include following physician orders, applying the Six Rights of medication administration, using the eMAR system, and supervising non-licensed team members to maintain high-quality care. Active LPN/RN license and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills required.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident MAR to dispense meds per physician orders.
• Adhere to Six Rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed staff as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford's Mission in daily shift leadership.
