Job summary

Bickford Senior Living seeks a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and administer daily medications with compassion and respect for each resident’s dignity. The role involves following MAR and physician orders, utilizing the eMAR system, and supervising non-licensed staff as needed.

The Wellness Nurse provides direct care, collaborates with clinical leadership, and upholds Bickford’s mission of quality life for seniors within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow MAR and physician orders to administer medications.
• Adhere to the Six Rights of medication administration.
• Utilize the eMAR system for documentation.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed staff as needed.
