Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and manage daily medication needs with compassion and respect for the residents’ dignity. The role emphasizes accurate MAR adherence, utilization of eMAR, and collaboration with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality care.

The position requires an active LPN or RN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong prioritization and communication skills to supervise non-licensed staff and maintain excellent resident care on shift.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/RN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford's policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
