Bickford Senior Living seeks a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and medication administration with compassion and respect for residents’ dignity, helping them live life to the fullest.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, and daily pay. CPR/First Aid certification and an active nursing license are required, along with strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Active license as LPN or RN in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Use the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Model the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
