Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and medication administration within the branch. You will ensure daily medication needs are met with compassion and dignity, enabling residents to live life to the fullest.

The role emphasizes leadership on shift, adherence to the Six Rights of medication administration, and collaboration with clinical leaders. Full-time benefits are available; daily pay options apply.

Qualifications

• Active license as LPN or RN in good standing.
• Willing to take additional training as states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to utilize or learn the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and store/bill as per policy.
• Use the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Lead on-shift by demonstrating the Bickford Mission in daily practice.
