Job summary

Highmark Inc. seeks a wellness coach with expertise in nutrition and health promotion to lead a member panel with tailored care plans.

You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based lifestyle interventions, monitor outcomes, and support member health goals across diverse populations. The role emphasizes regulatory-compliant documentation, program development participation, and effective collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nutrition, Health Education, Health Promotion, Exercise Science, Public Health, Social Work/Psychology, Health or Clinical related field OR relevant experience as determined by the company
• 3 years of experience as RD/EP/Wellness/Lifestyle Coach in a wellness-focused environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of evidence-based interventions and industry standards for lifestyle coaching (tobacco cessation, weight management, sleep hygiene, stress management, nutrition, physical activity, maternal health)
• Oversee a specified panel of members; assess health management needs and refer to appropriate resources
• Create care plans addressing identified needs with long- and short-term goals and regular progress reassessment
• Demonstrate clinical outcomes and cost savings from wellness interventions
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Participate in workgroups to improve wellness coaching efficiency and programs
