Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta in Decatur seeks a Wellness Coach Level II to support members through personalized wellness services and program delivery.

Under the Wellness Director, you will monitor the wellness center, ensure safety and high-quality service, complete required trainings within 60 days, and maintain certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of general weightlifting and health concepts and equipment.
• Familiarity with fitness-related topics including nutrition and injury prevention.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wellness center floor and assist members while enforcing policies.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Know and apply Metro Atlanta YMCA risk and safety guidelines.
• Promote wellness programs and ensure high service quality.
• Complete Coach Approach training within 60 days of hire.
• Complete YMCA/ACE online certifications within 60 days.
• Maintain certifications via Y-Exchange and keep BLS up to date.
• Attend staff meetings and support wellness initiatives.
