Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Wellness Coach I to build personalized relationships that support a positive member experience and oversee the wellness area. This role requires daily interaction with members and adherence to safety guidelines.

You will complete YUSA foundational courses within 60 days, maintain BLS certifications, and ensure wellness programs run smoothly with high service levels. Join a team dedicated to community wellness and service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of general weightlifting and health concepts.
• Must obtain/maintain Y Exchange access and ACE online certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) and renewals.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellness center floor and assist members as needed.
• Clean, maintain, and check equipment; report repairs.
• Follow Metro Atlanta YMCA risk and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Promote wellness programs and ensure smooth operation of activities.
• Complete required certifications within stated timelines.
