Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Wellness Center Ambassador in Eatontown, NJ, to welcome patients, assist with check-in and scheduling, and support the overall patient experience at the Health and Wellness Center.

The role requires a friendly, professional demeanor, ability to handle multiple tasks, and basic computer skills. Prior front desk or hospitality experience is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of working experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, problem-solving, and service recovery skills.
• Computer skills and experience with Matrix reporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests to the Wellness Center and guides their visit.
• Verifies demographics and assists with registration or scheduling as needed.
• Directs patients to locations and supports check-in or scheduling.
• Assists with escort for patients needing a wheelchair when required.
• Answers phones and routes inquiries per organizational standards.
• Enforces access policies and supports security and lobby operations.
