Job summary

A restaurant group in Florida is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. You will ensure dishware is cleaned and sanitized, and support fellow employees as needed. Qualifications

• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
• Five (5) Day Work Week, with Two (2) Consecutive Days Off.

Responsibilities

• Wash and provide clean and sanitized plateware and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift.
• Perform assigned prep work and maintain kitchen area cleanliness.

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop
• Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
• Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
• Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
• Support fellow employees as needed
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Five (5) Day Work Week, with Two (2) Consecutive Days Off
• Paid Vacation One Week after Year One, Two Weeks after Two Years, and Three Weeks after Ten Years
• Christmas Bonus after one year of employment (amount equals one week pay)
