Placements24 is seeking a Well Integrity Engineer to join our client in Upington, Northern Cape. You will develop and manage Well Integrity Management Systems, conduct risk assessments, and oversee testing, monitoring, and data analysis to ensure reliable well performance throughout the lifecycle.

Leadership in implementing industry standards (API/ISO) and collaborating with drilling, completions, and production teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in well integrity engineering in Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of well construction, completion technologies, and downhole equipment.
• Familiarity with API/ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage Well Integrity Management Systems (WIMS).
• Conduct risk assessments and integrity reviews for wells.
• Oversee routine well integrity testing, monitoring, and data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable well integrity regulations and company standards.
• Plan and supervise well integrity-related interventions and repairs.
• Review and approve well design and completion programs from an integrity perspective.
• Manage well integrity documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with drilling, completions, and production teams to maintain proactive integrity.
