Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a production welder to perform routine welding tasks on components, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. You will operate welding equipment, prep materials, and grind/fit parts as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and maintaining a clean work area in an on-site manufacturing setting. Prior welding or manufacturing experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0+ years in welding or related field
• Prior welding/manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices

Responsibilities

• Perform routine welding tasks on production components
• Operate welding equipment for tack and continuous welds
• Prepare materials using cutting tools and basic metal cutting
• Inspect welds for quality and defects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Assist with material preparation and movement in the work area
• Follow standard work instructions and participate in training opportunities
• Communicate issues to supervisors for resolution
