You will operate welding equipment for tack and continuous welds, use cutting tools, and grind and fit metal parts under supervision while developing foundational welding skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; no formal experience required.
• 0+ years welding/manufacturing experience; prior welding preferred.
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine welding tasks on production components, ensuring weld quality meets established standards.
• Operate welding equipment to complete tack welds and continuous welds as required by production specifications.
• Use cutting tools and equipment to prepare materials and perform basic metal cutting operations.
• Utilize hand and power tools to grind, fit, and prepare metal components for welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and consistency and identify basic defects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support production efficiency.
• Follow standard work instructions and participate in training opportunities.
• Communicate issues or concerns to supervisors for resolution.
